Cinema and Creative Collaborations
In partnership with Miami Cinema Club, El Jardin Inn transforms into an open-air cinema each month, hosting Moonlight Movies—intimate screenings beneath the night sky that bring together filmmakers, actors, and film lovers alike.
Beyond the screen, these gatherings create space for conversation, connection, and collaboration within Miami’s growing film community—offering a forum for local production, emerging voices, and shared storytelling.
Each April, we co-host our annual 48-hour film competition, where teams of strangers—actors, directors, writers, and videographers—come together to create and premiere original short films in just two days. The weekend culminates in a lively showcase and the presentation of the Flamingo Awards, celebrating creativity, spontaneity, and collaboration.
We also support film crews and creative teams by offering our property as a boutique film location, along with space for production, casting, and collaboration.
